8 Slices Bread or
8 Slices Toast
1/4 Cup Butter or
1/4 Cup Margarine
2.1/2 Cups Processed Cheese (Dried)
1/4 Teaspoon Mustard
4 Eggs (Slightly Beaten)
2.1/2 Cups Milk
1 Teaspoon Salt
Trim crusts from bread or toast, and butter each slice. Place 4 slices on a buttered baking tray. Alternate layers of bread or toast and cheese, finishing with layer of cheese on top. Mix eggs, milk, mustard, and salt, and pour over layers. Bake in a slow oven for 45 minutes. Allow to cool slightly, then cut into squares for serving.
